Press release on the demise of Ms Nirmala Deshpande
Stockholm, May 1, 2008
My dear friends,
Nirmala Deshpande was a close and dearest friend of mine.
She was a good friend of Russia.
Never will I forget how she brought food to Indira Gandhi in prison.
She will forever remain a true Gandhian whose noble principles must be emulated by all.
Let her soul rest in eternal peace in her heavenly abode. She well deserves it.
